Position Summary:
Florida Green Keepers is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Office Manager in Training. This role will provide comprehensive training to eventually assume full responsibility for all aspects of office management. The ideal candidate will be a fast learner with strong organizational and communication skills, and a willingness to embrace new challenges. There will be a 90-day probationary period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training & Development:
- Undergo comprehensive training to become proficient in all aspects of office management, including but not limited to:
- Accounts Payable/Receivable
- Payroll Processing
- Customer Service
- Human Resources (basic onboarding, etc.)
- Administrative support to management
- Data Entry & Record Keeping:
- Accurately enter data into QuickBooks Online, including accounts payable, time tracking, and estimates.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
- Administrative Support:
- Provide general administrative support to the office, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing office supplies.
- Assist with the preparation of reports and presentations as needed.
- Project Assistance:
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred. Willing to substitute education and experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is essential.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a particular emphasis on Teams, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to handle a variety of tasks and changing priorities.
- Strong customer service orientation.
